Dr. Nashrah, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She gained her Bachelor of Audiology (Honours) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1999, Masters in Audiological Sciences from Manchester University in 2001 and received her Audiology PhD from University of Western Australia in 2010. She has more than ten years of teaching experiences. She specialises in Central Auditory processing and Auditory Electrophysiological Assessments. Her research interests are in the area of Neurophysiological aspects of central auditory processing, and the behavioural manifestations resulting from changes in the central auditory nervous system. Her current researches include “Stimulation-Induced Auditory Neural Plasticity in the elderly” , “Role of central sensory systems in cognitive impairment”, “Auditory processing disorders and intervention outcome in children with dyslexia” and “Development and adaptation of culturally appropriate tests for auditory processing for local use.”
