Dr. Rafidah Mazlan, PhD, is a senior lecturer and Head of the Audiology Programme, School of Rehabilitation Sciences at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She received her PhD from the University of Queensland in 2009. Her research and clinical interests are in all facets of paediatric audiology but she has a special interest in the field of early identification and diagnosis of hearing loss and objective measures of middle ear function in newborn and young infants. Her research articles have appeared in peer-reviewed key international journals in the audiological field. She has also written book chapters on assessing middle ear function in infants.
